Welcome to Quirindi Sunflower Motor Inn
Proudly under new ownership since April Fools’ Day 2021. Yes, really!
At Quirindi Sunflower Motor Inn, we like to think we are a little more than your average motel or overnight stop.
Since taking over, we have continued to invest in and improve the Sunflower, with the aim of creating a relaxed, comfortable and memorable place to stay — somewhere guests can enjoy as part of their journey, not just a stop along the way.
You may also meet our much-loved pigs, Stan & Ollie — named after Laurel & Hardy. They started out as piglets, although they are certainly not so little anymore! They are full of character, great fun, and if you ask nicely, they may even sit for you.
In the evenings, our gardens come to life with beautiful garden lighting and solar flames throughout, creating a warm and peaceful atmosphere for guests to enjoy.
We also have a covered, gas-flame heated BBQ area, which is kept clean and ready to use. You will find the utensils, olive oil, spices and foil you need, along with our brand-new, top-of-the-range BBQ.....BYO chef!
For cooler nights, there is also a huge 8mm thick cast iron fire pit in the garden and BBQ area — perfect for cosy evening drinks. We are always happy to load up the logs and light it for you.

On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night

Full laundry room for guests use with all washing liquids, stain removers, and bleach provided. LG tower system washer and dryer, top loader machine and separate dryer.

Come and cuddle our plethora of animals, wild and of course tame.
Dining
We are partnered with a number of local restaurants who will deliver to your room along with other options.
Truck Parking
The Sunflower has huge parking facilities for large trucks and trailers out the front or alongside the property. Multiple truck parking is not an issue at Sunflower.
At Quirindi Sunflower Motor Inn we understand the needs of our workers staying for short or long periods, therefore we ensure they are as comfortable as possible offering 'homely' services and facilities throughout their stay.
